Exhibit Design

Traub Design Associates uses these guidelines when developing exhibits:

1. To blend your exhibit's historical narrative and the exhibit storyline with your collection in order to design an exhibit that fulfills your stated programming goals and focuses on your targeted audience(s).
2. To allow your historical collection its "voice" by showcasing the collection's strengths.
3. To safeguard your collection items while on display, by using museum quality conservation, preservation and security methods.
4. To temper the developing exhibit design with practical knowledge of successful exhibit techniques derived from years of exhibit design experience.
5. To always keep your exhibit's budget and schedule in mind, and to utilize "value engineering" when required, in order to keep the exhibit costs in-line with the budget and the exhibit schedule on time.
